About This Exhibition

Summary

The Taiwan Mould and Smart Forming Equipment Exhibition (Taimold), established in 1995, has hosted three major international events: the FADMA Conference, the Technical Paper Forum, and the International Mould Industry Expo. The mould industry in the Taiwan region currently faces challenges such as technical issues and labour shortages. In its early stages, the industry developed steadily through low-unit-price, high-volume production strategies. However, it now needs to adopt smart manufacturing technologies, including the integration of virtual and real systems, to build an intelligent system architecture spanning from design to serialised process hardware and software, as well as information mining and process management, thereby enhancing the industry's international competitiveness.
