As a solid pillar of the national economy, the food industry's importance is increasingly evident. With the continuous rise in consumption levels, the public's pursuit of food supply quality, food safety and nutrition, dietary habits, and spiritual experience is also growing. Relying on technologies such as synthetic biology, nanotechnology, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence, the future development direction of food is attracting much attention. In 2023, the total output value of China's food industry reached 2,158.695 billion yuan, of which the output value of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle exceeded one trillion yuan, fully leveraging the advantages of Sichuan and Chongqing in the food industry. With the accelerated pace of integrated development between the two regions, cooperation in the food industry is gradually moving towards deep clustering, which has become a key support point in the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle.
