The Asia International Hospitality & Food Expo (AHSE), held with the support of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government's招商投资促进局 (Investment Promotion Agency), Tourism Office, Municipal Affairs Bureau, and other government units and industry associations, was grandly held at Hall D of the Venetian Macao's Cotai Expo. The successful hosting of the Asia International Hospitality & Food Expo has made it the only professional trade exhibition in Macao themed around hotel, catering, and food & beverage. Leveraging Macao's advantages as an international convention and exhibition platform, AHSE attracted over a hundred renowned enterprises from 18 countries and regions, including Russia, the United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, Argentina, Venezuela, Japan, and Hong Kong SAR; it also attracted over 10,000 professional visitors from 32 countries and regions, with over a hundred business matching sessions held on site. The Consul General of the Dominican Republic in Hong Kong SAR, H.E. Mr. Eduardo Pelagio Alvarez Hernandez; the Consul General of Venezuela in Hong Kong SAR, H.E. Mr. O'Brien Ernesto Guerra Cordova; the Commercial Counsellor of the Consulate General of the Republic of Ecuador in Guangzhou, Mr. Paul Peng; and the Tea Promotion Officer of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in China, Mr. Tharanga Abeysekara, attended the opening ceremony.
