Summary

The Canton Fair, founded in spring 1957, is held twice a year in Guangzhou. It is the longest-running, highest-level, largest-scale, most comprehensive, and most effective comprehensive international trade event in China in terms of product variety, buyer attendance, and business results. Co-organised by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the China Foreign Trade Centre, import and export chambers (associations), and trade delegations. The Canton Fair consists of 48 trade delegations, with tens of thousands of well-credited, strong foreign trade companies, manufacturers, research institutes, foreign-invested/wholly foreign-owned enterprises, and private enterprises participating.
